The IA-2522 is a dry contact I/O device, USB Powered and Controlled, with an Event Counting ability.

The IA-2522 includes two Form C, SPDT Relays, two Digital Inputs that can be used both as dry contact inputs and as TTL digital inputs.

These inputs can be used as Event Counters input as well, while the third Digital Input can be used as a TTL Digital Output as well.

Operating the IA-2522 is quite simple. Its software support includes an API library, software code examples and a software utility.

Once the USB drivers are installed, a virtual Serial COM is created, and the IA-2522-U controlling job becomes a standard Serial COM controlling one.

The IA-2522 can be easily controlled by ASCII commands, using popular IA-3000 series command set, and moreover, it can be controlled by any RS-232 program written for the
original IA-3000 Series modules.
